Fen-Phen Injuries

The Law Offices of Robinson, Calcagnie & Robinson

California Fen-Phen Lawsuit Lawyers

In 1997, drug manufacturer Wyeth withdrew its diet drugs fenfluramine and dexfenfluramine (Fen-Phen) from the market after discussions with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Due to reports connecting Fen-Phen and valvular heart disease, a decision was made to withdraw the drugs to prevent further injuries to consumers. Additionally, primary pulmonary hypertension (PPH) – high blood pressure in the lungs – has also been linked to the use of Fen-Phen, and is not covered through a national class-action lawsuit settlement.

Since 1997, the law firm of Robinson, Calcagnie & Robinson has been involved in representing victims of Fen-Phen and their families. At both the state and federal levels, our law firm has played a leading role in helping victims of Fen-Phen recover damages for their injuries.
